Bennett has started smiling! :) Last week, he gave us a few here and there. It's just now begun to be a bit more. I don't think he really sees us yet, but certainly recognizes our voices. Personally, and this is COMPLETELY unbiased of course, I think he has a really cute smile. Ladies- watch out! If he ends up with Mak's blue eyes and a smile like that- your heart might just end up melted. I'm giving fair warning!
As well, I thought I'd make note of a few funny things from our little Missy. As you probably saw in a previous post she is now into "feeding her baby." She now sits with me on the couch, holds the baby up to her chest, puts their arms just like Bennett's, and even "switches sides." She is watching my every move- talk about impressionable! I better cross my t's and dot my i's.
She also said to Daddy last night at dinner, "Daddy- just what do you think you're doing?!"
ANNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDD-- If you can believe this!....I said to Ben, "We'll be putting her to B-E-D (spelled it out) soon." She said, "You'll be putting me to bed soon, Mommy?!" Seriously- she knows how to spell BED?! Nah- she's just really good at using context clues! She gets another star for early reading skills- wahoo!
