I do admit, I was expecting more of a reaction from her when she came down the stairs to see what Santa had brought. I think she's just still a wee-bit young. I do however expect next year to be "the best Christmas". She was excited, don't get me wrong, just still kind-of confused. We had to sort-of explain it to her...it was so sweet. We also read the note Santa left for us. Seems he thought that Rudolph would want the cupcake, what a thoughtful guy. :)
It was a big few days- can we say...exhausted?!
It was so nice to be snowed in. What a special little blessing in disguise. I kind-of wish we could be snowed in every year! We couldn't go anywhere, we didn't have to do anything...we could just be our family. The VanDever clan gathered for a bit for Christmas lunch, but that was about it. Gma and Gpa Dohrmann came to our house on Sunday evening and headed out Monday morning to help cheer on the 'ole Cyclones in Tempe at the Insight.com Bowl- We'll see if they can win. :) You just never know with them.
