Sweet Saturday

I told Ben just a bit ago, "Don't you just wish we could press the pause button on life and promise to remember these things?!" I mean really- how much can a memory hold? I hope it's a gazillion tons!

Clifford was at the ice skating rink today and we went for some family fun. It was all quite comical. Makenna was totally stoked about ice skating, as well as Clifford. The line...not so much. Then she saw the KCPT owl and flipped out. "I want to go home...I'm tired....I need to rest....I have a runny nose...I don't want to ice skate." All excuses were pulled out, although none worked. We tied up her laces and took her out there. In all honesty- we didn't make it even half way around the rink. No joke. She did have fun though and has already asked to go back tomorrow. I think she wants more hot cocoa.:)

Then we came home and had a dance party. Makenna just has to have on a dress. I really love having a girly-girl. (Please excuse her wiping her nose, and then me doing it too. Who actually has time for Kleenex!?)And then Daddy really captured a great pic...Probably my new fave! Great job, honey.
