Here's a quick video of Makenna "reading" a new beginner book for pre-readers. She's reading the pictures...she's not reading the words. Although actually on that note, she's about ready for site words. That's the next step! She'll sound out and put together the words, and can sometimes even figure it out.

it pushed her swing...
it helped her climb some trees.

"That's cool!"
