Nighttime is a different story. She has worn a pull-up to bed now for a year. Lord, I'm sick of those things. For a few months now she'd wake up about 50% of the time with a dry pull-up. I think that's pretty impressive for a girl who sleeps around 12 hours. In my mind, it was time to start buying the diapers only for Bennett.
The 411 on that whole sitch goes like this. Just over two weeks ago, I decided that she was going to wear panties to bed. We'd talked it up- you know. She was excited to be a real big girl. I thought maybe we could make it work if I woke her up around 10, when I went to bed...and then again around 2-2:30ish. I set my alarm every night, got her up, set her on the potty, and then went back to bed. It was maybe a lousy decision, but I didn't really know what and/or how to do this. Things, for the most part, went smoothly. But when I'd try to push it just a bit more, it wouldn't work and we'd end up with a wet bed. And it really hurt my Mommy heart- she would be so upset with herself. She even said one night, "I don't know why I do this!!" Poor thing- she's 3.
And so last night- the above happened. After I had cleaned her up, I pulled out a pull-up from her drawer and she said, "Mommy- you got more pull-ups!! I don't have to wear panties to bed anymore!?!?!?" She was ecstatic! I had completely stressed her out and she wanted, and probably needed a break.
Plan B for the time being- go back to square 1. Start over with a new tactic. See Chart 1A. :)

Bless her heart...go Makenna you can do it...wait, I guess DON'T go Makenna:)
For what's it worth...John Paul is still in pullups and he's 6. Anna-Laura never even worn them to bed. Point being...eventually she'll stop wearing them when she's ready. I'm not a fan of buying pullups either, but I figure none of my kids will go to middle school in them :)
i laughed out loud at her comment when she saw the pull-ups! ha ha
and i LOVE your chart. you could go into biz making those things! good luck! i hope it works!
