We had a seriously wonderful morning at Deanna Rose! We've been many times before with Makenna and enjoyed it EVERY time...every time. It's simply amazing. It used to be completely free, although now they charge $2 per person on the weekeends. I'm more than willing to pitch in a few bucks for such a great park. It's WAAAAAAAAAAYYY better than our crappy zoo here in KC and if you wanna talk about 'in your face animals'...go there! Love. it. So. fun.
The weather was incredible. Pretty well on the cool side actually, as we were getting ready early that morn, but then it turned out to be just perfect. As well, a sorority sister of mine happened to be in town and met us there with their little bundle of cuteness! Emma, 2.5 years, is as darling as her mother. We LOVED having you all join us/being able to join you...whatev. Flat tire and all.
Looking at Ms. Charlotte, the Holstein. She's one big 'ole girl. No offense, Charlotte.
Feeding the really hungry baby goats a bottle. Caution- watch out for your shirt, shoe laces, etc.
Riding Jimmy the horse.
TRYING to fish...pretty uneventful. :(
A little Bubba and me time. I know I'm biased, it's fine- but surely you think he's cute too?! Right...?
And Daddy was trying to be all "I'm the best photographer ever, and these will be such cute pics." Not bad, Daddy....but let's be honest. You had a few great models.
Umm- yea. Do you see what I mean by close up!?
A gorgeous day.
A great family day at the farm.
