Crazy- it's been a month!

It's hard to believe that 30 days ago I was in labor, having a son! Geez- the week prior (of course I was 5 days overdue) was just absolute torture. And now he's a month old. Already, he has grown and changed. You seriously forget how fast it goes...makes me sad. :( 11 more of these and it'll be his 1st birthday- ahh!

I thought I'd put together a Top Ten of my (already) most favorite things about our little man. Here they are-
1. I love how he stays in the "frog" position when you get him out of his car seat.
2. I love how he sneezes...all the time. If it's not 5 or 6 times right in a row, he's not done!
3. I love how you nibble/give little kisses on his cheek and he turns to suck. Natural instinct is unreal.
4. I think it's a riot that every time he eats, he poops too. How in the world they can multi-task at that age is the 8th Wonder.
5. I love how he likes to sit up on our shoulder and look out.
6. I love that you know when he's fallen asleep because he feels like a sack of potatoes.
7. I love his little grunts, burps, toots, squeals, noises in general.
8. I love that he seems patient with his big sister when she's trying to give him his paci. :)
9. I love that he has good (really good) lungs!
10. I love that he's a good baby.

Makenna at 4 weeks
And I haven't forgotten about our sweet 'Lil Mak! Here is her Top Ten things that she's doing or saying. She'll be 3 years in 3 months...which I can't believe either.
1. She's just recently come across a Yo-Yo. She calls it an Oreo.
2. She really loves bread with mayonnaise...She can't say mayonnaise so she says Handy Manny, like the cartoon on the Disney Channel.
3. She was tossing a football to my Dad at Halloween. She said, "Nice catch Grandpa!"
4. Bennett was crying/screaming and she said, "Feed him Mom- he's hungry!!"
5. She really takes care of him..."I need to get him his paci."
6. She's all about playing pretend. Pretend anything- she goes to the "beach." She goes to the "pool." She goes to "McDonald's"...The apple doesn't fall far, huh?! :) Sunshine and fast food- she's a girl after my own heart.
7. She loves putting on her dress and ballet shoes to dance in the family room. She'll say, "I'm going to be SOOOOOOO pretty!"
8. She's so clever. Not too much gets past her-
9. She has adapted quite well to having a little brother. She wants to make sure she knows where he is at all times.
10. Her vocabulary is outstanding. Her new thing to say is the word because. She'll say, "I need sunglasses because it's bright." Not only is that cause and effect, but it's a compound sentence! The teacher in me is extremely proud!
