Not because we had to go, but because I was concerned that her wound had reopened and I wanted to try to prevent her having a scar. We went to the Children's Mercy downtown. Woah- was that a humbling experience...everyone needs one of those a year. Yikes! We waited for 2 hours, saw the doctor, found out there was nothing that could be done, and left an hour later.
The wound did appear to be open again and the doctor said that it may not have been glued properly...boy- is that a bummer! She ended up having a pretty good black eye, and quite a bit of puffiness. Here she is again at the ER waiting on the doc. This whole episode really wore us out. Ugh.
