My parents are opening an Anytime Fitness here in the KC Northland, about a block south of Zona Rosa. Here's the info directly from them. Read up, ask questions, and then sign up to become a client!!!!!!!!!!! :) Guess I'll have a kick-a$$ bod in no time!

Hopefully by now you have heard that Mike and I are moving back to Kansas City and have decided to go into business for ourselves. We have purchased an Anytime Fitness franchise and are planning to be open mid-December, or at least just in time for those New Year's resolutions. Anytime Fitness is the world’s largest 24-hour co-ed fitness franchise. And we couldn’t be more excited!

Our location is just off Prairie View Road where the Recruiting center is currently located (next to Jimmy Johns). If you go straight out of Zona Rosa and cross Barry Rd., it is located just behind the Arby's on the right. We will have more info on our web-page and facebook page as soon as we get them up and running.

Anyway, we are very excited about this new venture and can't wait to open. We have been very busy these last few months (well Mike has been busy with the business – I have been in TX a lot packing and getting ready to move when the house sells) just finding out about Anytime Fitness and getting our ducks in a row. We signed our lease last week and then headed to Big Sky, Montana for the yearly conference which was awesome! We have come back with lots of ideas and many new friends. We hope to get the build-out started in the next few weeks, and we're shooting for our pre-sale in early November.

We would love to have you stop by and see the gym as it progresses, and definitely after the first of the year.

On top of everything else, Mike and I are currently enrolled in classes for our personal trainer certification. We plan to have other personal trainers for the real training so don't worry. You'll be in good hands.

We will also be offering classes through Fitness on Request, something that is new and not currently in the Kansas City area. You will be able to choose which classes you would like to take and schedule them for the classroom. They will be shown on a big screen with a qualified instructor. So if you want to do Yoga at 2 in the morning - go for it!
