Here we are today. I love that Kristine sent me a text and an email by 8 this morning, making sure I had remembered!! I have good friends. Had she not taken responsibility for me, I'm not sure I would have! :)
Wednesdays are school days...tried to get a shot of them together, but I don't have to tell you all how hard THAT is. Talk about a near impossible task! Here's the best one...
On our way to school, Bennett was dancing in his car seat of course. Snapped a quick picture of him lovin' some tune-age. Do you blame the kid?!
Here's Ms. Wendy and Makenna (her lead teacher who just so happens to be a Cyclone!). I'm so glad that Makenna loves school...another reason to be grateful.
We went over to Gma June's house for some homemade chicken noodle soup! Yummy lunch, Grandma Marsha. Thanks for the invite! :)
We had some extra time before nap time to enjoy the nice weather we've been so lucky to have a lot of recently! Swinging with my little girl, pushing her, teaching her how to pump her legs, letting her be the big sis and help her brother down the slide are the everyday precious moments I never want to forget.
Sitting in the sunshine enjoying a Red Delicious on a gorgeous fall day in Nov.
Then we had to play dress up. I was Prince Phillip and she was Sleeping Beauty. Then I was all THREE of the fairy Godmothers, and she had pricked her finger on the spinning wheel. Then she wanted to dance on "rugs" (aka hand towels) to Lady Gaga..then she needed some glass slippers..then............ :) Bennett's nap was over and he needed to call his girlfriends.
"What's up, LADIES?!"
We all needed adjustments! And badly. Good thing we know the best chiropractor in the KC area!
I better stop there...already at 11 pictures. We had dinner, baths, bedtime- normal routine for a week night, certainly.

This is a picture of Jax and Makenna at their very first meeting. They were around 3 weeks old. Mandy- soon enough, you'll have another sweet baby boy that'll be just as sweet and teeny tiny as your first. So precious and pure.I wanted to mention this convo I had with Makenna on our way home. It went like this:
Makenna- Mommy, do you know where my cell phone is. I need to call Jax...he's my boyfriend. We're going to get married in a church. I really need a dress. And then he'll kiss me.
Me- Really, wow. That sounds wonderful, Makenna.
A few minutes went by and I said:
Me- But Makenna, I thought you had said a while ago that you were going to marry Daddy.
Makenna (with a funny look)- Mommy, you silly. He's a big boy...I need a little boy!
Me- Oh yea, you're right sugar. Jax it is!

So annoyed I forgot the 10 on 10 day! So glad you remembered-great post!
And what a great convo. Jax feels the same way. Randomly in the car every now and again he will tell me how he's going to marry Makenna-so the feeling is mutual. How funny/crazy would it be if that actually happened?! Somehow I have a feeling they might grow up to be more like brother and sister. I wonder if at some point they had a conversation about how they were going to get married. Maybe that's why they both talk about it so much??
great ten on ten!!! i'm so glad you did it! you are great about documenting anyway but i love to see "a day in the life!" isn't it all just so precious?!
i love her convo about jax too! so sweet!
