We were on lake time.

(In leau of our monthly 10 on 10.)

I swear- I asked the friends we were with what time it was probably 20 times within a 48 hour period.  Our phones didn't work and it seemed like their clocks didn't either...and let's be real- who wears a watch!?

What a great time, I mean- really.  A really. great. time.  The Baker's have a kick-a$$ set-up, equipped with TONS of room, three full baths, and a boat on a dock of their own...who could want more!?

After unpacking and having an awesome dinner of beefalo on Friday afternoon, we took a little sunset cruise.  Gorgeeeee-ous.  The weather was just perfect, and not a soul was out on the water.  Holla! Here's their view out the family room/kitchen windows.

We're all aware of how Mr. Bennett's in touch with his feminine side.  A crown and bracelet- why not?!

 Can you say, "SO stinking CUTE!?"  Lucy, quite possibly the best dog ever protecting her littlest sister, Miss Scarlett.  (15 months)

The next morning, we ate a yummy breakfast, packed up sammy's and snacks, then headed out.  Here's our little sailor.

 We stopped at an ice cream place.  Makenna was begging for me to go down this slide with her!  I couldn't believe she wanted to go, but I went with it.  We got to the top, and it was a no-go.  She climbed back down the ladder, but I took it like a champ!  Weeeeeeeeee!

 We voted...and gave the lake Two Thumbs Up! Stellar performance.

 And isn't this place just adorable?  The pizza was as delicious as the place was cute. 

A hellof a weekend if I do say so myself.
