So....I've already sent out an evite for his SECOND birthday. Lord please...slow us down. It's just too fast. Amen. :)
He is hilarious. Things Mr. Bennett is doing are:
-He gallops. He gallops everywhere. And he's pretty good.
-He's loud, and outgoing, and boyish! Trucks, trains, cars- you name it. If they go vroom vroom, he loves them.
-He is repeating most of the words we say (luckily not the bad ones yet). He understands fully what you're talking about and responds with your typical two year old gab.
-He still loves Daddy, even though he goes bye-bye. And he still really loves his best "buddy" Makenna, who he now refers to as Mana. He used to call her Buddy. Pretty sweet, huh?!
-He loves talking on the phone. He'll tell you all about going potty on the Elmo seat, and his big boy pants. He'll say Hello and bye bye, or none when he's done.
-He's still infatuated with shoes...most of you probably saw on FB. And also a new thing- loves painting his nails like big sister.
-And huge- he's potty trained. Shouldn't forget to mention that.
-He eats well, sleeps well, does all the normal things he should be doing. We're so thankful.
-And he gets some major attention. Doesn't really matter where we are, people are telling me he's a cutie. And of course, I know he is because I'm the mom. But really, his head's going to start getting big as soon as he understands what they're saying!
And here's a new video of him saying his alphabet. Listen closely to the W. He says "uh-huh", like he doesn't even want to try and pronounce that! Makenna (not that I'm comparing) KNEW her letters by now. Like actually- knew them, recognized them, and would say them. He's not there yet, but maybe will be soon. I was a teacher- it's part of who I am.
