Daddy's 36!

For Ben's birthday, we took the kids to Worlds of Fun for a family fun day!  The weather was perrrrrrfect.  Maybe 80 degrees and sunny.  It was a great two and a half hours!  It was also Bennett's first time going.  He had as much fun, if not more, than Sweet Mak! 

 Bennett is obsessed with choo-choo's.  This was THE highlight.

I had asked Makenna what she wanted to give Daddy for his birthday.  She said a movie.  So I bought him his all time favorite flick, Hoosiers.  Then she saw a flashlight as we were checking out, and knew his other one had broken.  She wanted to get him that too! And we HAD to get a singing card- those are her favorites! Quite a thinker for 4.5!  Maybe she'll be a pratical gift giver...just like her father!!  To me, that's boring- but whatev. :)

Ice cream cake and the Happy Birthday song- a grand day.
